Helping to keep our children, who will be Trick or Treating on Halloween night as safe as possible, the Boothbay Harbor Police Department will be initiating a new traffic plan for Eastern Ave. and Kenny Field Dr. It will be for all children, their parents and others, who will be Trick or Treating on these two roadways.

These roadways will be closed from 6 to 9 p.m.

1. Eastern Ave. will be closed at School St.

2. Eastern Ave. will be closed at Highland Park Road

3. Eastern Ave. will be closed at Montgomery Road

4. Kenny Field Dr. will be closed at Park St.

5. Parking will be available at the dirt parking lot next to the Congregational Church and Hometown Convenience (Bobo’s) vacant lot.

6. Residents who live in these areas will be allowed to enter and leave.

By limiting traffic on these two roadways, it will be safer for Trick or Treaters to make this special night more enjoyable.
