It’s time to get our beautiful town of Boothbay Harbor ready for the holiday season! On November 2nd (rain date November 3rd), we’re coming together for a community-wide decorating day from 10 AM to 4 PM, and we need your help to make it magical!

What’s Happening? We’ll be setting up our iconic Pot Buoy Tree at Pier One, sprucing up the Memorial Library with lights, and encouraging local businesses to get their storefronts holiday-ready.

There are two shifts to choose from:
Morning Donut Shift (10 AM - 1 PM)
Afternoon Pizza Shift (1 PM - 4 PM)
Or, if you’re feeling extra festive, be an energizer elf and help out all day! Your time and effort, whether it’s a few hours or a full day, will help bring the holiday spirit to life.

What's Next? While we’re getting everything in place, we won’t be turning the lights on just yet—we’re saving that excitement for the big switch-on day on November 16th. For now, we’re making sure the town is prepped and ready to shine when the moment comes.

Why Get Involved? This day is all about coming together as a community. Your effort—whether it’s hanging decorations, organizing the tree, or prepping your storefront—will make this year’s holiday season unforgettable for locals and visitors alike.

Ready to Help? Sign up on our Google Doc or call the Chamber at 207-633-2353 to get on our volunteer list! So, whether you’re joining us for donuts, pizza, or a bit of both, we’d love to have you with us on Lighting Up Day.

Let’s make Boothbay Harbor sparkle brighter than ever this holiday season!
